Quantum Leaping
Have you ever felt you were living on the wrong timeline?
You wake up one day and wonder how you got here, feeling stuck inside a place you don’t belong with people who don’t understand you.
As farfetched as it may seem, you are not stuck. You have simply outgrown the life you have been living. The habits, relationships, jobs, environments, beliefs, patterns and perspectives you created are no longer aligned with who you are becoming. You have experienced a growth spurt, which is the result of the inner work you have been doing. You are now ready for something different, something better suited to your new form.
Once we outgrow our old life, we are asked to let go of everything and everyone that does not serve our soul so we can make space for the new life. Clinging to anything that is not ours stunts our spiritual growth and delays our arrival to the next level of consciousness.
When we have finished learning all the lessons we can learn on our current level of consciousness, it is time to graduate and quantum leap into the next grade level. We must leave behind classmates, peers and teachers who are not joining us on the next leg of our journey. Not because anyone did anything wrong, but because they have other places to be as well.
While we may feel profound sadness and grief for the losses, rest assured that everything getting left behind will be replaced with something better suited to our soul.
Quantum leaps can feel scary because you are becoming someone you have never been before and your ego is terrified of the unknown.
The ego thrives on control and certainty. It wants to remain in the comfort zone and does everything in its power to keep you tied to timelines you have already outgrown.
But unlike the ego, the soul loves growth. It craves new lessons, adventure, unfamiliar faces and never-seen-before experiences because it knows you must surrender control and step into uncharted territory in order to evolve and expand your consciousness.
These leaps of faith require massive amounts of courage and high levels of belief in yourself. Trust the process of elimination and get curious about what’s ahead for you. Growing pains often precede life’s greatest blessings.
